Built as a tribute to the 356 Speedster of the 1950s, the 1989 911 3.2 Speedster marked the end of an era ? the last open-top 911 to feature the iconic G-series body and air-cooled flat-six engine. Produced for just one year, only 2,102 examples left the factory, of which 822 were destined for the US market. Chassis WP0ZZZ91ZKS173470 was delivered new in July 1989 by Porsche Inglewood, California, and first registered in September 1989. It retains its original matching-numbers 3.2-litre engine (type 930/25) developing 214 hp, paired with the sought-after G50 five-speed manual transmission. The car was imported to Belgium in the early 1990s and officially converted to European specifications, with a certificate of conformity and individual approval issued by D?Ieteren, Porsche?s Belgian importer, in 1991. Finished in its original Silver Metallic (code 980) over a black leather interior, this Speedster has covered just 31,700 km from new. The paintwork is largely original, with only the rear body section refinished in its factory colour for cosmetic reasons. The car remains accident-free, with straight body panels, precise gaps, and clean underbody. It rides on original 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels in excellent condition, fitted with Continental tyres in good state. The interior is entirely original, featuring black leather seats, factory air conditioning, electric 8-way seats, and heated seats on both sides. A Blaupunkt Symphony radio and Porsche alarm system are also present. All instruments and electrical systems operate correctly. Mechanically, the car presents in excellent condition throughout. The flat-six runs cleanly, the G50 gearbox shifts precisely, and all braking and suspension components are well preserved. The engine compartment remains exceptionally clean, showing only light traces of use. The car comes with two original keys, original tools, and a complete service book. The current owner bought this Speedster 3.2L in 2016 and since then, has maintained it regularly with a last service done in October 2025 by a Porsche specialist.
